In our grade 5 class we work on a year long hope project in which the students develop and carry out their own hope-focused service-learning projects. Another part of our learning is looking at current events in our community around the whole and finding hope in those articles. The students always come up with so many ideas of how they want to help and are so rewarded when they are able to do something.
