Comments from fellow Young Citizens!
Athena from SK says:
What was your favourite part of this video?: My favourite part has got to be how you compared the stories of the Quallapiluit and Sedna. I really enjoyed how you gave them titles as the Creator of Life, and the Taker of Life. I think it was amazing how well you compared the life of the Arctic to the Life of the Modern World.
What do you think this Young Citizen did really well?: I like how you made it interesting, showed moral in each story you shared. I think how you chose how to tell your stories by the water's edge was great. It was able to show and give an idea.
What did you learn from the video?: I can't say I learned much, for I'm doing a very similar topic, but I can say, that I am still intrigued and just how different life is around the world. I learned, yet again, that water can be a blessing and a curse. It is what gives us life, and allows us to live, but it can just as easily be reversed and take away your life, and cause you to drown and perish. I learned just how important it is to listen to our parents, in my own video as well as Emelyne's. The Quallupiluit will steal children who disobey; the parents knew better and warn their children. It's because of their disobedience that their life was stolen from them.
Any other comments you’d like to share with this Young Citizen?: Hey! We did some of the same stories! I got to say, I think you did a better job than I did. You made it interesting, and how you were standing by a waters edge while you told the story of Sedna.

What was your favourite part of this video?: I enjoyed the stories that you shared about Quallapiluit and Sedna. I liked how you were at the water as well when you were sharing about Sedna.
What do you think this Young Citizen did really well?: I believe that this young citizen really explained the stories and myths of the inuits well. They were really interesting and the pictures made the stories come to life.
What did you learn from the video?: I learned more about the myths and legends of the Inuit. I never knew who Sedna and Quallapiluit were before I watched this video, but now I not only know who they are but what impact they had on the beliefs of the Inuit.
Any other comments you’d like to share with this Young Citizen?: Good video, and I wish you luck.
Brennan from MB says:
What was your favourite part of this video?: I really like how you showed the pictures of the different statues. I also liked how you gave examples of some myths that you like.
What do you think this Young Citizen did really well?: I like how you made the stories more interesting and shared the different morals from the myths. I also like the water background.
What did you learn from the video?: I learned a lot as I really don't know anything about myths so pretty much everything you said was new. One thing that I never realized that these myths actually had morals and I enjoyed listening about them.
Any other comments you’d like to share with this Young Citizen?: I think that this was a really cool video and I really enjoyed it and you made it fun to listen to.
