Protecting Old Houses

All over our country, there are old houses at risk of disappearing. Maybe somebody wants to knock them down to build something bigger. Maybe they’re falling down and nobody wants them anymore. Of course we can’t preserve every old building, but a lot of Canadian homes have a story to tell. Klaire, who lives in Bonavista, NL, made a video for the Young Citizens program about the people working to protect the beautiful old houses that have stood in her town for hundreds of years.
